If you like driving, you’ll love our AutoSOLO and Autotest. They are probably the most fun you’ll have in first and second gear. You can use any road-legal car, and you can have a passenger on board to help you navigate the course. These “taster” events are designed to encourage you to have a little fun in your car, and it’s a great way to challenge your mates to a little driving competition.

It’s just £15 for either the AutoSOLO or AutoTEST or £25 for both – these charges enable us to cover the MotorsportUK costs.
As these two events are run under the guidance of Motorsport UK, we are required to follow their rules, publish the below supplementary regulations and require you (and any navigator/ passenger) to apply for and hold an RS Clubman Licence. There is no cost for this licence. But why? Well Motorsport UK think that, as you will be covered by their insurance, it’s only reasonable that they know who you are. It’s an online process that takes just a few minutes and can be done on the day from a mobile phone, but it’s probably easier to do it now.
Saturday’s AutoSOLO will be held on smooth tarmac. Sunday’s Autotest is held on both the tarmac and the bigger loose cinder surface.

Our AutoSOLO and AutoTest events, organised by the Morgan Sports Car Club and TR Register Car Club, are designed to be welcoming, low-cost and enormous fun. Competitors tackle precision driving courses laid out with traffic cones, where success comes from accuracy, smoothness and car control rather than outright speed.
