The TR Register Car Club and Austin Healey Club are running a Concours D’Elegance for Triumph TR and Austin Healey sports cars in Avon Hall at the Showground throughout the weekend.

The event, sponsored by Meguiar’s, offers two levels of competition.

Pride of Ownership are for those cars that are in great, cared-for condition but that are used, have an interesting story, patina or have been in daily use.

Concours D’Elegance is for the best restored or preserved cars that represent the very best examples of the marque, and there are categories for both modified and original vehicles.

Trophies are awarded in several classes, and each winner also receives a gift pack from Meguiar’s.

There will be a Modified class sponsored by TRGB ( radical changes EFI, etc )

The Bancroft Challenge Cup will be awarded to the most popular Triumph TR5 displayed in the Hall, plus an award for best displayed car on the Sunday, non-Triumph.

Any other clubs wishing to run their own Concours events should contact us to be allocated available indoor space.

Entries will be taken up until 11 am Saturday morning for all classes
